ELIZABETH PETERKORT JACOBSMEYER

Elizabeth assists high net worth clients with complex estate, tax, and wealth management issues. She partners with her clients to fulfill their wealth transfer goals through their estate planning, lifetime gifting, business succession planning, and philanthropic donations. Elizabeth also assists with the administration of trusts and estates.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS:

  • Guides individuals and families on creating and implementing an estate plan that matches the family’s goals and minimizes gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) taxes on transfers to future generations.

  • Advises individuals and families on advanced planning techniques (for example, gifts and sales to SLATs, ILITs, GRATs, Crummey trusts, and other irrevocable trusts).

  • Assists with the formation and administration of charities and foundations.

  • Advises personal representatives on the administration of estates.

  • Advises trustees and beneficiaries on trust administration and modification.
